Law No. 11,196 is already in force, which was sanctioned last Friday (7). The legislation obliges supermarkets, bakeries and similar commercial establishments in Paraíba to secure information in Braille about the products contained in the gondolas. The idea is to provide greater autonomy to visually impaired individuals.

The labels should be exposed in the same place, easily accessible, to the visually impaired or their companion, containing the name of the products, the quantity and their respective prices.
