Initiative seeks partnership for corrective and preventive maintenance for vehicles that are policing in the city center.

The Chamber of shopkeepers-cdl of Campina Grande, promoted on Thursday (19/10), a meeting to discuss public security in the city trade and seek, together with representatives of the security agencies, solutions to end the wave of Break-ins to stores that have frightened shopkeepers and consumers.

The meeting, which was attended by the regional delegate of the Civil Police, Dr. Iasley Almeida, and the commander of the 2nd Battalion of Military Police, Cel. Lamark Donato, took place in the CDL Auditorium and brought together representatives of class entities and shopkeepers.

The motto that originated the meeting was based on a new form of crime: Store break-ins through the use of vehicles. In less than a month the so-called "gang of the defendant Macha" broke into five stores in the center of Campina Grande, causing a loss of more than R $160,000 to shopkeepers victims of criminals.

From this point other types of crimes were also dealt with. The shopkeepers presented some proposals to be implemented by the police. "We ask the police to understand that they should have rounds 24 hours in the center of Campina, as well as the reactivation of the policing unit that previously existed in Praça da Bandeira," said the president of CDL, Artur Marbles.

During the meeting with entrepreneurs, the military police took the commitment to increase the workforce of professionals and vehicles, as well as the frequency of rounds. The Civil police, in the person of delegate Iasley de Almeida, reported that they are conducting investigations to reach the gangs that act against commercial establishments.
