The CDL Campina Grande is requesting the Superintendence of transit and public transport (STTP) to undertake studies to enable the change of the stop point of heavy vehicles that make "loading and unloading" of goods, installed in Rua Peregrino de Carvalho (behind the old supermarket bomprice), to Rua Tavares Cavalcante, where the circulation of cars and pedestrians is smaller, thus guaranteeing more space for the maneuvers and stops of the trucks. The request of the CDL has the purpose of valuing the region of the Peregrino de Carvalho, street that began to present, in recent years, a new commercial profile, with the installation of new stores and the increase of the flow of consumers. According to the President-in-Office of the CDL, Carlos Botelho, the point for loading and unloading goods is no longer necessary after the closing of the supermarket that existed in the region. "The point in this location is obstructing the circulation of customers in the sidewalks and hindering the visibility and sales in the running shops." Said. The shopkeeper argues that the venue is turning into parking spaces in the Blue Zone. "We send a letter to the sttp and we are talking to the superintendent of the organ believing in the feasibility of our proposal." Finalized.
