The fulfillment of the Consumer Protection Code (CDC) was discussed during a meeting held last Wednesday (21), between the president of CDL Campina Grande, Carlos Botelho, and the coordinator of the Municipal Procon, Rivaldo Rodrigues.

At the time, Botelho exposed the concern about the way some tax inspectors usually impose fines on stores when irregularities are found, without opening room for dialogue with the store manager.

"Every day we hear reports of shopkeepers complaining about the way the inspections are conducted in the Campina Grande trade. We acknowledge the importance of the work of Procon, but we also ask that they act in order to guide and, if there is recurrence, then apply the punishment, "he said.

And to meet the request of the shopkeeper, Rivaldo Rodrigues undertook to come to the CDL to present a lecture addressing issues of consumer Protection code applied to retail, with a view to conducting the campaign to encourage sales "Natal de Dreams and prizes. "
