After two consecutive months of deficit in the generation of jobs, Campina Grande returned to present good results in creating job opportunities with a signed portfolio. The information is from the general register of employees and Employees (caged), the Ministry of Labor (MTE).

 The data are related to the month of June, when 2,230 people were hired for some activity with a signed wallet, while 1,864 were dismissed, resulting in the balance of 366 hires.

The functions that most contracted during the period analyzed were retail salesman (126) and telemarketing operator (50). Already the most disconnected are the professions of machine mechanic (104) and servant of Works (94).

The President-in-Office of the House of shopkeepers – CDL Campina Grande, Carlos Botelho, commented on the numbers and celebrated the resumption of local economic growth. "The numbers prove that gradually, we are coming out of the crisis that so much damage to all sectors of the economy. Our concern is still in relation to the effects that can still arise due to the strike of the truckers and the electoral period, "he added.

Even with the alert signal on, the shopkeeper believes that the numbers can remain expressive for the coming months. "The second semester of the year is usually more economically busy talking and this, in a way, makes us quite optimistic," he said.

And the businessman is right to be optimistic. This is because caged data revealed that in the accumulated year, from January to June, Campina Grande closed the total of 62 jobs with a signed portfolio. Although negative, the number is quite different from that recorded in 2017 when 739 vacancies were closed in the city.
