For the third consecutive year Campina Grande presented low in the generation of jobs with a signed portfolio, according to the data released last Friday (26) by the General registry of employees and Unemployed (caged) of the Ministry of Labor.

From January to December 2017 were opened 18,313 formal employment vacancies against 19,494 that were closed, causing unfavorable balance of-1,181 jobs in the productive sector of the campinense economy.

Among the areas affected with dispensations, the civil construction sector stands out mainly, which presented, in 2017, a drop of 543 in the number of vacancies (considering the professions of bricklayer and servant of works), followed by telemarketing attendant (-538) and Vigilant (-241). Retail trade appears as one of the functions with the highest turnover rate, but closed the year with a positive balance of three hires.  

The numbers cause even more concern considering that since the year 2015 the generation of jobs in the city remains in the red. And in the accumulated last three years the city has closed 6,893 jobs with a signed wallet.

For the President of the House of shopkeepers – CDL of Campina Grande, Artur Almeida, the demissions diminish the purchasing power of the consumer and thus the whole city is, in some way affected. "A few years ago Campina Grande Bitter negative numbers in the generation of jobs and this much worries us, because the economy of the city fails to win when someone gets unemployed. It is a potential consumer with its affected purchasing power, "he said.

According to the shopkeeper, even with the negative balance and modernizations of labor laws, already in force, the number of formal jobs was higher than in previous years, when the CLT still functioned in the outdated model, "contradicting the discourse that the Work portfolio would be with the days counted, "he completed.

 In 2015 the balance of formal jobs with a signed portfolio had a low of-3,731, already in 2016 the fall was equal to 1,981. Check out the table with the numbers of the generation of jobs in Campina Grande over the years:
