GC trade will work normally this Friday

Despite the general strike organised by trade unions for the next Friday (28), the Chamber of Shopkeepers (CDL) of Campina Grande informs that the trade in the city will operate normally throughout the day and that traders can not be prevented To open their stores.

The entity respects the positioning of the organs that opted to adhere to the movement, after all, we live in a democratic country. However, it understands that the excess of holidays has provoked a series of disturbances to our economy and that is not paralyzing the activities that problems will be solved.

It is of general knowledge of the population that Brazil lives the biggest and most drastic economic and political crisis in its history. We're being severely affected, yes! But the best way to recover all this damage is by working hard to prevent the damage from increasing.

The Paraiba trade has been suffering hard tax scams that, coupled with inflation, have affected the smooth functioning of the sector. Not by chance, since January 2015, when the crisis was already gaining momentum, until March 2017, 5,584 jobs were eliminated only in commercial activity, according to official data from caged.

The entity informs and reassures all tenants guaranteed that there will be no punishment for those who follow with the normal functioning of the stores, because, the unions can not impose the contrary, since the date is not an official holiday, but also not in the Collective convention of Trade workers.

Consumers can also stay calm to accomplish, at will, their shopping in the city centre's trade, which remains open from 08h to 18h. We will be requesting the reinforcement of public and private security to ensure that no store is closed against the owner's wishes.

In the most, we invite the entire working class to join the holiday of May 1st-world Labour Day, and fight for their rights without damaging the productive sectors of the economy.
