The Government of Paraíba, through the Secretariat of State of Revenue, will publish a new ordinance with changes in the registration of the CPF in electronic invoice to consumer (NFC-e) for commercial establishments. In the period from May to December of this year, the inclusion of the purchaser's CPF in NFC-E will be optional and without penalty for retail in Paraiba. The ordinance will be published in the official electronic journal of the State Revenue (Doe-SER) this Wednesday (25).
The change meets the demands of retail entrepreneurs and was informed on Tuesday (25) by the Government of Paraíba. Now the mandatory CPF on NFC-e in purchases equal to or above R $500 is required from January 1, 2018. The previous deadline was May 2.
The President of the House of Shopkeepers (CDL) of Campina Grande, Artur Almeida (Pellet), celebrated the change of the date. "The CDL appreciates the sensitivity of the state Government, through the secretariat of State of the Treasury, for no longer mandatory, this year, the placement of the CPF ´ s in the invoices," he said.
However, Artur Pellet recommends that retailers begin to adapt to the determination that will take effect from January 2018. "We recommend as long as the entrepreneurs can, whenever the client permits, put the CPF on the note until the company itself has the data of the customers and thus develop loyalty actions," he said.
The Secretary of State for Revenue explains that if the consumer requests the registration of the CPF to the operators of boxes of the commercial establishments the inclusion will be mandatory this year for any value. The CPF requirement on the NFC-E remains the current value in purchases equal or above (R $10000) until December 31, 2017.
