By acclaiming, the miner José César da Costa was elected president of the National Confederation of Shopkeepers (Cndl) for the 2018/2020 triennium, at the ordinary General meeting (Aug), held at 8am, this Thursday (26), in Brasilia.
Born in Barbacena (MG), José César holds a bachelor's degree in Business administration and construction business and building materials for 38 years. He was president of the FCDL-MG in the period from 2007 to 2013. He also served as vice President of the deliberative Council of SPC Brazil and is currently vice president of Cndl. Costa was also director, Vice President and Chairman of the Chamber of shopkeepers of Conselheiro Lafaiete (MG), for two mandates.
"It is a moment of great emotion to be elected president of the Cndl. There was a great construction to get here. Taking this important step, I am sure that no one does anything alone, everything is the result of a joint work of all the entities that make up the system, "said the president-elect.
During the Aug, the president of Cndl, Honório Pinheiro, made an assessment of his management, which comes to an end in December this year. "At the National Trade Forum we had the opportunity to take a management balance featuring the five main management axes. In recent years, we have won seats in councils throughout the country, we have advanced in important legislations that impact on the sector of commerce and services and we leverage the representativeness of the Cndl system, "he said.
I am absolutely certain that Joseph Caesar will make a prosperous drive. I assure you that being ahead of the Cndl requires a great personal effort, but it is a struggle of much joy and achievements relevant to the system ", he evaluated Pinheiro.
The process also elected the elective positions of the board of Directors, the supervisory board and the Superior Council for the 2018/2020 triennium.
