The secretariat of State for Revenue (SER) communicates to establishments in the segment of bars, restaurants and the like that from 3 July will enter into force the ordinance that requires the use of the equipment of the TEF (electronic transfer of funds) for the Companies, which can be physically or not interconnected to the electronic consumer Invoice (fixed TEF) issuing system.

The state revenue had met the claims of the business sector to postpone the use of the new system due to operational difficulties of April for the month of July this year. Ordinance 87/2017 with postponement of the requirement was published on April 4, 2017 in the official electronic journal of the State Revenue (Doe-SER).  

Within 30 days, the use of POS (Point of Sale) equipment without integration with the automation system of the company will also be prohibited for this segment. The market already has mobile machinets that already emit the electronic invoice to the consumer (NFC-e). The other companies are already released for the use of the TEF without interconnection with the system or use of POS that emits NFC-E since the publication of Ordi

nance 011/2017. Commercial establishments, through integration with the company's automation system, should be inform the electronic consumer invoice (NFC-e) The CNPJ of the accreditation, the flag of the credit card operator and the authorization number of the operation.
