President of the FCDL Comments new ordinance that makes optional the requirement of NFC-E "shows the strength of the shopkeeper movement"

   The retailers Paraíba commemorate the victory conquered through the Federation of CDL ´ S of Paraíba that managed to sensitizing the state Government to publish a new ordinance making voluntary and without penalties, from May to December 2017, the requirement of the CPF in the note Electronic consumer tax (NFC-e) for purchases over 500 reais.

    Through the ordinance (N ° 00100/2017/Gser) published in the Official Gazette of the state of this Wednesday (26), it is determined that the obligation of the CPF in NFC-e in purchases equal or above R $500 is required from January 1, 2018. The previous deadline was May 2.

    For José Lopes da Silva Neto, President of FCDL-PB, the change of posture by the state Government proves, once again, the force of the shopkeeper movement in Paraiba. "It was thanks to the efforts of the entities that represent the retail that the governor decided to change the measure that was already causing us great concern," he said.

    The shopkeeper explained that only through the Union of entrepreneurs is that the pleites of the category will be attended. "I invite all tenants to search for the nearest CDL to their region to join. It is only through associativism that we will have the strength to strengthen our retail, "he said.

    The Secretary of State for Revenue explains that if the consumer requests the registration of the CPF to the operators of boxes of the commercial establishments the inclusion will be mandatory this year for any value. The CPF requirement on the NFC-E remains the current value in purchases equal or above (R $10000) until December 31, 2017.
