It was May 2012 when I received the invitation to take over the press office of the CDL. I thought of refusing, because I had just graduated in journalism and still accumulated little experience in the area. Even knowing the enormous pressure I would face, I ended up accepting the challenge of disseminating the entity's actions. In the first years I had a lot of difficulty understanding the process that involves the entire shopkeeper moment and serve as a source for the media, but always sought to qualify me to offer the best of me.
Over these five years, the work has gained more prominence. It ceased to be just "press relations" and started to function as a "Department of communication" where I have the partnership of colleague Hugo Rafael. From there, the CDL was inserted into social media, we created a new portal with always updated information. We care about always getting spontaneous space in the press and preserving the good relationship with all the essays. We create the CDL TV and strive to keep our associates always well updated on our products and services.
In January 2017, the work of the CDL communication was nationally recognized by SPC Brazil as a successful Case and inspiring model for other entities, a fact that I am very proud of.
The CDL was the place where I signed up professionally and taught me to trust my potential. The freedom I have to put the projects into practice gives me more and more desire to always give my best. I often say that whoever gets involved with the shopkeeper movement falls in love and I'm a living example of it.
